This Is Not True At - Well, Maybe A Little.

Here's something that I like to do each year as the holidays approach. I've come to think of it as a yuletide tradition.

Any time you manage to get your hands on a child's letter to Santa (volunteering to empty the big bin at the mall is a good idea), give it back to them with "Return to Sender - Addressee Nonexistent" stamped on the envelope.

You'll cherish the memories for years to come!

Enough rambling. Here's another picture from our our recent church-sponsored afternoon of trap shooting.

When I recently told our daughters that we would be cutting down (drastically) on our Christmas budget and making gifts, etc I told them they could still make a long list of what all they wanted, but should expect to only receive one or two items.

My DD11 said "We can just make the long buy-things list and give those lists to Santa."

:S

Apparently she thinks Santa moved his shop from the North Pole to China and Taiwan. How else would the elves make and send out PlayStations and Barbie dolls?

Heh, sorry, Kiddo, if you get anything from Santa this year it will be a scarf, knit with yarn that looks a lot like some Mom has in her yarn box...
